Learn scuba basics in Barcelona during a two-hour beginner session with a certified instructor. You will spend about 35 minutes learning equipment and hand signals, then enter from the beach at your own pace. Small groups of up to six, multilingual guides, and underwater photos or video make this a friendly first step.

Join SuperDive Tossa de Mar for a 150-minute PADI Try Dive at Mar Menuda Beach. You’ll learn equipment and hand signals, ride 10 minutes by van, then spend 45 to 60 minutes underwater with an instructor such as Pep, Eric, Harry, or Eva nearby. Seahorses, octopus, cuttlefish, and video footage may be part of your Costa Brava experience.

Meet your English-speaking Scubanana instructor at Radazul for a three-hour PADI try-dive. You’ll learn basic skills on land, use supplied equipment, and enter the water with personal guidance. Ryan and Elias are among the instructors praised for calm, clear teaching. Minimum age is 10.

Meet the yellow compass-marked boat near Palapa Bar in San Antonio for a beginner-friendly PADI Discover Scuba session. After a 25-minute online lesson and onboard briefing, you’ll explore to 8 meters with an instructor for about 30 minutes. Gear, insurance, drinks, and snorkeling time are included. Ages 10 and up.

I’ll teach you the basics of scuba and guide you into the protected waters of Playa de Amadores. You’ll use a mask, fins, boots, wetsuit, and tank to reach up to 6 meters, with time to see fish, cuttlefish, and possibly rays or seahorses. Learn scuba skills and earn your PADI Open Water certification at Scubanana Dive Center in Radazul, Tenerife. Learn basic scuba skills with instructors such as Pau, Julia, Alex, and Hugo, then spend about 30 to 40 minutes underwater in a protected sea area near Bogatell Beach. Groups are limited to six, equipment and videos are included, and the session suits complete beginners.

At Travel Sub Dive Center in Puerto Colón, you’ll learn basic scuba skills, practice in shallow water, then take a speedboat to a Tenerife site for up to 40 minutes underwater and 12 meters deep. PADI instructors including Max and Toby teach in several languages. Equipment, insurance, e-learning, water, and certification are included.

At GooDiving in Tenerife, you’ll learn basic scuba skills through a short theory session and pool practice before making one ocean descent. Spend three hours learning basic scuba skills with a certified SSI instructor, then practice in a protected bay off La Palma. The small group, limited to four, gives you time to get comfortable with the equipment and see parrotfish, wrasse, octopi, starfish, and more. No previous experience is needed, but you must be at least 10 and able to swim.

Spend six hours with a small group of no more than three people learning basic scuba skills from instructors such as Diana, Daniel, Veronika, or Sebastian. You will practice in shallow water, make two Atlantic descents at Playa Malpique, and earn an SSI Basic Diver certificate. Fish, moray eels, and starfish may appear along the way.

Meet the iDive Barcelona team on Avinguda Diagonal for a full-day PADI Scuba Diver course. You’ll study equipment and underwater signals, then complete three supervised water sessions with a certified instructor such as Pau or Alex.
