Meet Scuba Life Cozumel at Marina Fonatur for a beginner-friendly scuba experience at Paradise Reef. You’ll watch a PADI lesson, practice skills in shallow water, then make two guided boat excursions with full gear. Instructors such as Jorge, Gabo, Diego, Aldo, and Javier are known for calm, personal instruction.

“Gabo was amazing. So patient and provided each of us with a tailored experiences that made us comfortable. Fantastic It is important to note this excursion takes about 4-5 hours. We were told by Viator 3.5 hours. When we discovered this after checking in with Discover Scuba they were kind and accommodated getting us back early so we could catch our cruise ship. However, we were only able to do half of the trip. Disappointing for such an expense but the Discover Scuba crew were amazing at doing their best to accommodate based on the miss information we received.”

“The entire dive from beginning to end was absolutely amazing! There were only 4 divers so the group was smaller and more intimate. Our guide was out of this world! He was full of information not just about the dive but the history of the Cenote’s and explained the scientific history of what we were seeing. He made sure to make all the right stops along the way pausing at places so we could simply take in the beauty of the light refractions. Cannot say enough good things!!! When I come back to Mexico I will for sure being coming back to dive them again!!!!”

Opted for the second dive and saw a group of sea lions and swam in both the Pacific Ocean and Sea of Cortez. Highly recommend if you are wanting to see if scuba is for you.”

“My fiance and I booked the diving tour with them after reading so many great reviews about the people. And those reviews were right! I was VERY fearful about diving - everything from rolling backward into the water from the boat to not panicking under water to completing the training had me petrified. But the team (Alex, Ivan, and Ursula) helped me stay calm and made me feel safe. Once I figured out how to not panic and breathe too deeply (I found closing my eyes made a difference to help slow down my breathing), I really enjoyed the dive. I'll say the reef itself wasn't the most colorful or…”
